Please note that any warranty services or questions must be accompanied by your order number included in the sales order or other proof from the transaction through which the warranted product was purchased. The order number from the sales order or other proof serves as your proof of warranty and must be retained. DiskNGo will honor no warranty claim without this type of proof. The bill of sale or other proof of purchase must be retained to return products to DiskNGo.

Obtaining an RMA

To return a product the customer must obtain an RMA number and provide proof of purchase.

Scope of Warranty Coverage

DiskNGo extends a warranty towards only those products purchased from DiskNGo as described in the bill of sale or other proof of purchase.

DiskNGo makes no other warranty, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or conformity to any representation or description, with respect to this product other than as set forth in this limited warranty description. DiskNGo makes no warranty or representation, either express or implied, with respect to any other manufacturer’s product or documentation, its quality, performance, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or conformity to any representation or description.

DiskNGo does not offer technical support (e.g. firmware upgrades, troubleshooting, RAID setup, etc.) for any products. Technical support should be pursued through channels offered by the manufacturer/developer of the relevant products. DiskNGo is not responsible for giving any technical support concerning the installation or integration of any component purchased through DiskNGo. DiskNGo is not responsible for loss of data or time, even with hardware failure. Customers are responsible for backing up any data for their own protection. DiskNGo is not responsible for any loss of work (“down time”) caused by a product failing or requiring service. Under no circumstances will DiskNGo be responsible for any refund or remuneration exceeding the original purchase price of the product less any applicable shipping fees. DiskNGo will not be held responsible for typographical errors on sales receipts, or on our website. DiskNGo makes every effort to make sure all information on our website is correct.

Return of Non-Defective Products

A non-defective product may be returned to DiskNGo within 30 days of receiving the package for a refund of the original purchase price with the following conditions:

  • The bill of sale or other proof of purchase must be retained to receive an RMA
  • A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all returns for refund
  • Neither the original or return shipping costs, the shipping and handling fees, nor duties and excise taxes incurred will be refunded.
  • No refund will be granted for products which have been opened, used, or tampered with in any way which jeopardizes DiskNGo’s ability to remarket or resell the product
  • DiskNGo maintains full discretion in decisions regarding a products fitness for return
  • To return a product, please follow the “Obtaining an RMA” and “Shipping the product back to DiskNGo” instructions
  • RMA’s are valid for 10 days from date of issuance
  • Returns will not be accepted without an RMA
  • Most refunds are initiated within 24-48 hours
  • After 30 days have passed from the invoice date, non-defective products will no longer qualify for an RMA and will not be accepted for return

Return of Defective Products

DiskNGo warrants this product against defects in materials or workmanship for the time period specified on DiskNGo or through a requested Warranty Certificate for your purchased product. During this period, DiskNGo will replace defective parts with new or reconditioned parts at DiskNGo’s option.

A defective product may be returned to DiskNGo within the specified warranty period for a replacement of the original or equivalent product or refund of the original purchase price with the following conditions:

  • The bill of sale or other proof of purchase must be retained to receive an RMA
  • Neither the original shipping cost, the shipping and handling fees, nor duties and excise taxes incurred from international orders will be refunded at any time during the warranty period
  • DiskNGo will pay for shipping within 90 days of the invoice date for return of defective products shipped within the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii
  • DiskNGo will not pay for return shipping beyond 90 days from the invoice date
  • No refund will be granted for products which have been opened, used, or tampered with in any way which jeopardizes DiskNGo’s ability to remarket or resell the product

DiskNGo shall not be liable under this warranty if any damage or defect results from:

  • misuse, abuse, neglect, or installation
  • disasters such as fire, flood, lightning or improper electric current
  • any hardware or software/firmware service, modification or alteration
  • damages incurred through irresponsible use, including those resulting from malware, software, firmware, server modification, non-standard operating conditions or other non-recommended practices which are outside of the manufacturer’s specifications

Although every precaution is taken to avoid damage during transit, sometimes parts will arrive damaged due to mishandling on the part of the shipping company. If a product arrives damaged due to shipping problems, e.g. with a crushed, torn, or dented box, this must be reported within 30 days of receiving the product.

Shipping Products Back to DiskNGo

All returned parts must have an RMA number written clearly on the outside of the package along with a note detailing the problems and a copy of the original proof of purchase. No COD packages will be accepted. No package will be accepted without an RMA number written on the outside of the package. RMA numbers are only valid for 10 days from the date of issue, not including shipping time. Please follow the below shipping instructions to ensure your returned parts are accepted:

  • Pack the product in its original box or a well-protected box with plenty of packing material to prevent damage during transit
  • It is very important that you write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the package
  • Ship the product with a copy of your bill of sale or other proof of purchase, your name, address, phone number, description of the problem(s), and the RMA number you have obtained to:
